Bridal Reception Gowns
A reception gown is the bride’s evening look: one flowing piece, often easier to move in than a lehenga, and a clear change of mood after the ceremonies. It keeps South Asian craftsmanship, with embroidery, sequins and beadwork, but puts it on silhouettes made for a party: ball gowns, A-lines, trailing gowns and fitted shapes. Colours lean towards metallics, pale pastels and deep jewel tones, well away from bridal red. Each gown is made after you order, with Rush and Super Rush delivery available if your reception date is close. Choose the silhouette by how you want to spend the evening: dancing, greeting guests, or both.

Reception gown, Walima gown or Indo Western gown?
The lines blur, so here’s how our collections divide them. A Walima gown is part of the traditional Pakistani sequence, usually in soft colours and worn with a dupatta, and our Pakistani bridal gowns are built around it. An Indo Western gown is defined by its fusion construction, such as capes, drapes and lehenga gowns. A reception gown is defined by the occasion: it’s the one you’ll wear for the evening party, and it can be traditional or modern, as long as it’s made for dancing and celebrating.
Silhouettes for a reception
A ball gown with a full skirt makes the biggest entrance and photographs beautifully in a ballroom. An A-line is easier to move in and suits most figures. A trailing gown fits a stage and a formal first dance, while a fitted mermaid or fishtail gown is the most dramatic but the least forgiving on the dance floor. If you’ll be greeting guests table by table, choose a skirt you can manage on your own.
Details that matter at night
Evening light rewards texture. Sequins, crystals, metallic thread and pearls come alive under chandeliers, while flat, matt fabric can disappear. Sleeves and necklines vary widely on reception gowns, and on most bridal designs they can be adjusted before production.
