Blue Pakistani Frocks
A blue frock is one of the safest ways to look properly dressed at a Pakistani wedding without competing with anyone. Blue is seldom a Baraat colour, it suits both daytime and evening, and the long, flared shape of a frock shows the colour off in full movement. Navy and royal blue with gold or silver work are made for receptions and winter evenings, while ice blue, powder blue and turquoise feel light and summery in chiffon or organza. Pale blue is a popular Walima choice for brides, though, so check before wearing it that day. The blue frocks here belong to our Pakistani wedding frocks range, with standard sizing or your own measurements on most designs. Start with the time of the event: it narrows the choice of blue straight away.

How a frock shows off blue
A frock’s skirt is cut from many panels and often layered, net or chiffon over a lining, and that layering changes the blue. A navy net over a navy lining reads deep and solid; the same net over a lighter lining gives a two-tone shimmer as you move. Ice blue in several layers of chiffon looks almost misty. When you compare designs, look at how the skirt is built as well as the colour of the bodice.
Trousers and dupatta
Under a blue frock, matching churidar or straight trousers lengthen the line. A contrasting bottom in silver, ivory or gold is dressier and draws attention to the hem. For the dupatta, tone-on-tone keeps a navy frock calm and polished, while a contrast in pink, mustard or silver brightens royal and ice blues.
Blue in other silhouettes
The same blues in a straighter suit are in our blue salwar kameez, and the blue sharara suits add more swing.
